The recently first unveiled Roman soldiers may have worn a unique sun hat whose survival is considered a miracle.

The sun hat is currently on display Bolton Museum in Greater Manchester, UK. It was discovered in 1888 in the archaeological site of the Egyptian city of Irahu.

The accessory was donated to Bolton’s first museum, the Chadwick Museum, in 1911, and has been stored for nearly 115 years.

Ian Trumble, curator of archaeology at Bolton Library and Museum Services, told Fox News that the hat survived due to dry conditions in Egypt.
