Mary Travis still has her Husband, Randy Travis, Call her a pet name for nearly thirty years of romance.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Mary told her husband that he still calls her a “popular mom” just like he did since he got together in 2010.
“He is kind to me. He is so cute to me. The country star has limited speeches after a stroke in 2013.

“It just shocked me,” Mary said.
Mary attributes their lasting relationship to their pairing just “a little easier”. The couple celebrated their 10th anniversary this year.
“So it’s almost like I’m going to marry my best friend, I just feel like the good Lord puts us where we should go when we need to be there.”
“We got together in 2010. We knew each other since 1990, but we didn’t get together until 2010. So almost like I’m going to marry my best friend, I just feel like the good Lord puts us where we should be when we need to be there.”
Mary said: “I don’t know what would be done without this guy here, and I wish I could do something along the way that would make him a little lighter. We just tied our hips.”

Mary was Randy’s rock before she got married. Randy suffered a life-changing stroke in 2013, after the musician was hospitalized for congestive heart failure associated with viral cardiomyopathy.
When asked how the two could be in a relationship with Randy’s health issues, Mary just told Fox News Digital Numbers Country Star “In trouble” with her.
After Randy suffered a stroke, the singer received life support in the hospital and the doctor told Mary that it was in her best interest to “insert” her husband.

“I think Randy, Randy thought he could do it with it. It was a magical moment, when they said ‘We need to pull the plug, I went to his bedside. At that time he had so many things to him.’ Mary said: “He had already contracted Staphylococcus infection and three other hospital-born bacteria viruses like Serratia, Pseudomonas, one thing, the doctor just said: “He just didn’t have the power to solve this problem.”

Mary was told that Travis had poor vitality and that he had low blood cells and she was told it was time to say goodbye.

“That was when I went to find him. At that moment I knew Randy Travis would do it because he squeezed my hand and tears flowed down his face. I said, ‘He’s still fighting.'” Mary recalled.
