Maryland jury begins deliberating on the case against Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, Illegal Immigration Accused of raping and murdering Bel Air Woman Rachel Morin in August 2023.
Morin is a 37-year-old five-year-old mother ambush, strangle and beat her to death.
“It’s been a painful experience for Rachel’s family, but they are still determined to pursue justice,” Family attorney Randolph Rice said in a statement Friday.

So far, Molin’s family has been on the trial every day and is expected to continue until its conclusion.
The autopsy results in Harford County show that Morin had suffered 15 to 20 hits in the head and died from blackmail and blunt trauma. Her death is formal Rule to kill.

When Molin was still believed to be missing, witnesses walking along the MA&PA trail said they found a path similar to the deer trail with flat leaves, but they soon found blood tangled on the rocks near the trail and followed unusual traces through two tunnels near the trail with overly long brushes.
Harford County State Attorney Alison Healey said in his opening remarks that it was where they met Moline’s naked body.

“I saw an unclothed human body on her back. At first, I really thought it might be a deer or something that died there,” testified by Evan Knapp, who discovered Moline’s body. “So, I had to get closer to confirm what I saw, that was a person. I felt like time was frozen for a second and I didn’t know what I was looking at.”

Martinez-Hernandez, from El Salvador, allegedly fled Maryland and Maryland after Maureen was murdered. Authorities said at his trial that they found DNA matching the suspect at the crime scene and were eventually able to trace him to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where police arrested him.
