Polish defense officials say army The drone shot down violated the airspace earlier Monday.
Polish Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk wrote on X, “Action to eliminate objects that violate and exceed boundaries Polish Republicans In progress. ”
“The state authorities, i.e. the president of the Republican Party of Poland and the prime minister of the Republic of Poland,” Tomchik wrote.
Deputy Prime Minister Vadis Kosiniak-Kamiz said Polish troops have been working with NATO Order. ”

Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote on X: “The Territory Defense Forces have been activated to search downed drones. We ask for calmness and share announcements of military and state services only. If objects are encountered, please do not approach them and inform the police.”
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he had been in “continuous contact with the president and the defense minister” and he had received “direct reports from the combat commander.”

Poland’s operational command of the armed forces links the drone invasion in its airspace with Russian forces’ attacks on neighboring Ukraine.
“The unprecedented violation of Polish airspace of drone-type objects due to the Russian Federation’s attack on Ukrainian territory,” the commander wrote on X.

Operations Command said it activated the “defense process” and with the help of the Polish armed forces “decided to neutralize those who may pose a threat”.

“Some drones entering our airspace have been shot down. Efforts are being made to find and find possible collapse sites for these objects,” the command wrote. “The operational command of the Polish armed forces is monitoring the current situation, and Poland and Allied forces and assets are still fully prepared for further operations.”
