Listen to POC’s In-Helmet Audio System While You Ski

I spend the most On my winter weekend at the Colorado resort in the state resort. The best part for me is the social aspect–no hotter than the tea scattered on the chairs. But if you’ve ever skied or skied, you know that sometimes communication is limited, just like they did when they zoomed in in front of me. (Cool, this is just my second season!) I’m glad to have some entertainment if I practice it myself.

I used Bluetooth earbuds to listen to podcasts and music while riding, and I have tested some helmet audio systems, but the sound is usually meh. I never really listen to anything on any slope regularly. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the POC Obex Connect headset, the brand’s recently launched helmet audio and communication system with Harman Kardon. The audio quality of this incident shocked me and officially turned me into someone who always needs some soundtrack every time he skied.

this OBEX Connected Headphones Can be paired with any helmet in the POC OBEX series or included in Obex Connect Remote Helmet. I’ve tried obex mipsand easy to install. I pulled out the regular ear cups from the helmet and connected the OBEX to it and tucked the connection cable behind the adjustment dial on the back of the helmet. The audio ear pads feel like the soft, soft and warmth that comes with the helmet.

They also provide just as much space for your ears – I never felt the mat pressing on my head. Instead, they were shaking. If your earrings aren’t taken out, you know how important this is!

The OBEX MIPS helmet itself is solid gear. It has a comfortable, lightweight feel with an indoor size adjustment dial, adjustable top vents, goggles clips, adjustable plastic clips chin straps and front ventilation on goggles to prevent mist. As the name suggests, the helmet has a Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), the gold standard standard in the helmet construction that moves your head relative to the helmet during impact and limits rotational force.

After installing the system in the helmet, I downloaded the POC Connect app (ios,,,,, Android), attempting to pair your phone with headphones via Bluetooth. I can’t do this directly from the app – I have to go into the Bluetooth settings of my iPhone and select the headphones, but I can see it there and pair it immediately. Even on the way to the ski resort, even on a windy mountain road, the process is easy. After that, I can control the music, call and voice assistants of the helmet itself.
