You will never I hope your razor has an opinion on you. However, here, I’ve made a failed score for the new I9000 Prestige Ultra razor from Philips Norelco, which I released this spring.
According to the phone app paired with the device, I’m obviously using a razor. I was too clean to whisper along my skin to get the best shave. Actually, my statistics are totally bad. I only applied the best pressure 30% of the time. By expanding, I may have been unaware of any number of razors used for years.
“Let’s try again!” The app is hopeful in me in the robot’s mind.

On the surface, the i9000 reputation Ultra was something I didn’t expect. This is an AI-trained razor that provides real-time feedback to guide every user’s ideal shaving – both through the app and through the lampshade collar to light up in orange, green or purple depending on your condition. Just like a good book teaches you how to read it, this razor obviously teaches you how to shave.
My editor is skeptical. When I described it, she wrote: “No razor even requires an app, let alone having metrics and judgment.”
Besides the interesting thing is that I obviously need help. Within a few days, I did not receive sincere congratulations from the “perfect” exercise and stress of the razor. I also got some of the closest shaves from electric devices.
I’m not even sure if I want to keep a relationship with a human barber, let alone an AI razor. But explain The Immortal Rashid Wallacedon’t lie. My touch is undesirable.
