Chicago has 2:02 left for touchdowns. The Bears have one timeout left, which may be a good idea for subsequent kickoff range to stop the clock in a two-minute warning. Instead, the kickoff was given to Vikings returner Ty Chandler and Minnesota head coach Kevin O’Connell to pull the ball to Chandler. The two-minute shutdown was burned down and the bears had little time to make any attack on their next property.
Manning was heard on the alternative broadcast and said the bear should have just kicked it out of the line.

“Kevin O’Connell Professional football conversation. “It should be a good situational football for both sides. Minnesota’s kick-back team has to run out of it, and if they’re playing, Minnesota has to find a way to make it take two seconds.”
When the Bears decided to kick the ball away instead of kicking, Manning was sure they would kick out of the line. But they didn’t.
“Kick out of range. The fine, it’s 40 years old.” “Now, you’ve got a timeout and a two-minute warning. Starting from range. Not in the end area, within range.”
Johnson admitted in a post-match press conference that kicking the ball into the finish area was not an intention.
