Payton McNabb ‘heartbroken’ over Dems’ coldness at Trump speech to her story of injuries from trans athlete

Democrats Refused to clap Almost every moment of President Donald Trump’s joint speech Tuesday night. This includes his respect for former volleyball player Payton McNabb, who suffered painful physical and mental damage when he was injured by his trans opponent in 2022.

Trump praised 19-year-old McNabb for overcoming her injuries, including concussions, bleeding from the brain and permanent whipping, becoming an advocate for protecting women and girls from biological males in sports.

McNabb told Fox News Digital that the Democrats’ reaction was not surprising, but it was still “heartbreaking.”

“Last night, overall, the Democrats were so disrespectful,” McNabb said. “And they didn’t take over any guests, they didn’t stand up for DJ Daniel, the little boy who survived brain cancer, they didn’t stand up for Lake Riley’s family, the daughter of Lake Riley’s family never actually had a traumatic death, and all the other guests had some kind of powerful story and they didn’t post any help for it.

“So it’s heartbreaking, and honestly, I wish I could say I was surprised, but I wasn’t.”

Most Democratic Congress women who attended Tuesday night were wearing pink to protest Trump’s support for women’s rights. But these women in Congress chose a day after the Senate Democrats voted almost unanimously to block protections for women and girls in sports.

The law could have helped set stricter precedents to keep trans athletes away from women and women’s sports nationwide, as many states so far have refused to comply with Trump’s executive orders to address the issue. However, no Democratic senator voted to pass the bill and prevented it from reaching Trump’s table.

McNabb Using Fox News Digitala few days before Monday’s vote, considered voting for the bill. But instead, none of them voted for it, wearing pink to Tuesday’s address.

“The Democrats failed. They don’t care,” McNabb said. “The fact that they didn’t pass this bill even with their own daughters is totally heartbreaking. I’m not the only story, there are a lot of female athletes who share their stories, and it’s not that they don’t know. It’s crazy, it’s the hills they’re willing to die.

“It’s just sad…it’s really embarrassing.”

McNabb is not alone in condemning the Democrats for attending their courtesy on Tuesday. Many conservatives on social media not only slammed the congressional delegates for attending the meeting, but also the guests who sat in the gallery without cheering guests, decided to wear pink and wave provocative news after blocking Monday’s bills and waving a small signal.

One of the most controversial moments of the night was when Rep. D-Texas, Rep. Al Green, was escorted out after waving his crutches and repeatedly shouting at Trump during the opening hours of his speech.

When the president touted Republican victory in the House, Senate and White House, he shouted: “You have no mission.”

R-la. Mike Johnson, spokesman, was evacuated by the U.S. sergeant.

McNabb said: “They are embarrassed about their political parties and their country.

“The way the Democrats act is a new low for them…the only time they clapped Ukraine was saying, but they didn’t clap or represent anything else…the drama and drama are definitely there for them. I think the shirts, logos and pink suits and pink suits are adorable, but I don’t think it’s Democrats now than ever before.

Despite the heartbreak of the Democrats, McNabb said she was still “very grateful” as they attended and gained experience meeting key figures at the party, including Usha Vance, the second lady whom McNabb sat next to her Tuesday. She also has the opportunity to share her story with border Tsar Tom Homan.

“It’s incredible. It’s something I’ll remember in my life,” McNabb said.
