“The Secret Service put me into the public and I was besieged. We have to leave. We can’t stay there. I’m angry.”

Not only was Harrison a little embarrassed, but he was frustrated and disappointed his son, he was excited to tell his friends that he was meeting the president.
“So, I had a block from the house and then Senator Heller’s phone number popped up in my truck and I was like, Senator Heller knew I didn’t have a filter,” Harrison said. “So the first thing he said was, he was like, ‘Rick, before you say a word, the president of the United States wants to talk to you.”
Harrison added: “Rick, I’m really sorry.
“And you won’t tell the president of the United States ‘no,’ right?” Harrison said.

Harrison previously praised President Trump after meeting two people after the loss of Harrison’s son Adam, who died in 2024 due to a fentanyl overdose.

“He’s an incredible person. He wants to do something about it,” Harrison said of Trump, 77.
He added: “You have to start right away there are a lot of different places, but one of them is taking the damn thing out of the country and stop making it so cheap.”
