Seven years after marriage, Harrison filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason, noting that “their taste, psychology, perspective, likes and dislikes have become so different that they become incompatible in marriage.”

Harrison previously married Kim Harrison in 1982-85, and he shared him Adam’s son and Corey, then Tracy Harrison from 1986-2011. The former couple has a son, Jack.

After his son Adam died from an unexpected fentanyl overdose, he advocated stricter border control policies.
