Director of the FBI Kash Patel Fight against Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during a hearing on Wednesday oversight of the bureau.
Jeffrey Epstein’s case is at the center of the conflict, with several Democrats accusing Patel of recommitting to release all available information to the public. Meanwhile, Patel argued that the FBI’s undisclosed information was either under some form of legal restrictions or abusing the material and he would not release it.
“So, you were sworn in as director for over 200 days. Now, ‘Black Book’ is under your direct control. So why don’t you post the name of Epstein’s accomplice in rape and sexual trafficking of young women and girls?” Ranking member Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md. ask.
