McAfee publicly burned Canadians Saturday night after booing the U.S. national anthem, President Donald Trump’s “51st State” remarks, a recent sporting event.
“This is the most stacked elimination room WWE has ever seen,” McCaffe said on a pay-per-view radio. “What’s bad about Kinda is that in the horrible country of Canada, our national anthem started the whole thing.”

McAfee was ridiculed for his comments and said on his “Pat McAfee Show” that he saw “the horrible thing about what I said.”
But that didn’t stop McAfee from explaining why he said what he said- he still stuck.
“Now, Canada, listen, I think I think what I respect is your passion for your country and I want you to know that I did the same to me,” McAfee explained on the show. “You booed my country.”

McCaffe said the Rogers Center booed heavily during the national anthem.

McCaffe continued: “I learned from Canadians that they are much more passionate about their country than I thought. I understand this many terrible words about me.”
“I’m not saying Canadians are bad. I say your country is. You boo us. I say you’re bad. Let’s shake hands and keep going. I still love Canadians…I hope it’s settled.”
McAfee also posted on X after seeing the objection he aroused from his comments.
“I’m proud and grateful for being from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania… Canadians are passionate about their country, I understand… You boo our country and I say you’re terrible. McAfee wrote In his post.
The NHL’s 4-country confrontation was the first place to hear Boos, as President Trump threatened the country’s commodity tariffs and called it “the 51st state” after Team USA faced Team Canada.
