Swiss International Air Force flight to Zurich, Germany Boston Logan International Airport After seeing the flames shoot out of the engine.

The video shows that the flames are extinguished from the plane’s engine as they move forward, seemingly slowing down.

“The exact nature of the engine problem is currently under investigation,” a spokesperson for Swiss International Airlines said in a statement on Fox News’ digital numbers. “However, depending on the engine problem, it is possible that the flame will be visible in a short period of time.”

An air traffic controller told Swiss Airlines crew, “When you rise, one of the engines appears to have black smoke.” Boston 25 News. “We have fire departments out on the runway now; they come and see it. They can give you a better rating.”

Swiss planes have been in Logan since Sunday’s arrival from Zurich before attempting to take off, according to reports.

“The crew of Swiss Flight 55 stopped taking off at Boston Logan International Airport, which had an engine issued at around 6:25 PM on Tuesday, September 16. The FAA briefly suspended some airports arriving at the airport before taxing on the planes.” NBC 10 Boston. “The FAA will investigate.”

Swiss International Airlines told Fox News that the 223 passengers and 13 crew members were not injured.

“Suddenly, we were about halfway around the runway, so the plane vibrated forward,” one passenger, Molly Furrer, told NBC 10 Boston. “I could feel the brakes and then start sliding down the runway until it stopped completely.”

Furrer also told the media that passengers were not told what was going on for minutes, although they didn’t erupt until they heard the sirens and saw the ambulance.

“Luckily, my first feeling was general reassurance, which was caught before we even got in the air, so we didn’t have to make an emergency landing,” Furrer told NBC 10 Boston.

Website FlairawareFlights tracking flights around the world indicate that the flight arrived in Zurich at 11:43 am local time and is scheduled to arrive more than five hours after arrival. The airline confirmed to Fox News Digital that the plane that ended up taking off at 10:00 p.m. was not the one trying to take off Tuesday evening.

“The safety of our passengers and crews has always been our top priority in Switzerland. Our pilots are well trained and ready to respond quickly and appropriately in this particular situation,” a Swiss International Airline spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “We deeply regret the inconvenience this incident has caused to passengers.”

Fox News Digital contacted Logan Airport about the incident, but received no immediate response.
