The Egg Harbour Township Police Department announced Thursday that there were three adults involved in the incident: Colleen Biddle, Philadelphia, 41, Robert Schafer, 38, of Robert Schafer, of Maple Shade, New Jersey, And Justin Pacheco, 38, of Philadelphia.

The American Hockey League (ABHA) issued a statement condemning the conduct.

The ABHA added that the organization has initiated its own internal investigation and will impose its own disciplinary action. Both teams were suspended, and the coaches of the Maple Shadow Students team were suspended.
Their statement added: “It is important to note that this incident was incited by an outside team and therefore, there is no reflection on the values or behavior of the host facility, Egg Harbour Township Street hockey, their team or their family.”
