Mysterious Laboratory‘Parasol and Jokers will bring the SEGA license code of Joker:Evolutions Game to Web3 players.
Parasol is an end-to-end platform that enables game developers to seamlessly integrate blockchain infrastructure into their games. It is a subsidiary of Mysten Labs, and the company involved announced that SEGA-licensed Game Jokers Inc. is about to enter the SUI blockchain.
Joker: Evolutions is the latest version of Joker Series, a popular digital trading card game released by SEGA in 2013. Now powered by Sui, Joker Code: Evolutions: Evolutions presents its digital transaction card on Chain with the IP of the series and the upcoming collaboration.
“From our first conversation, about the digital experience of the Joker Code: what it looks like, we know we want to match the body feeling of opening a new card pack,” Jokers Inc. co-founder Takashi “Gin” Mizouka said in a statement. “SUI is the only blockchain that can make this vision a reality and we are excited to have the first of many collaborations with the Parasol team. Jokers has reached multiple licensing agreements with major Japanese characters IPS and we are excited to bring them into SUI to further expand the Web3 gaming space.”
Thanks to SUI’s infrastructure, players will be able to prove digital ownership, trade and display their collections. Joker Code: Evolution will be released on iOS, Android and the web in late summer 2025.

The SUI ecosystem’s commitment to games leveraging blockchain technology has been launched since the release of SUI’s mainnet, from such independent games, such as indie games (e.g. xociety Development to Mysten Labs suiplay0x1this is the first hardware device to be able to play Web2 and Web3-powered games in partnership with Playtron OS.
Parasol is a team of Japanese and American gaming experts with decades of experience in defining gaming hardware and software in invention, construction and transportation categories. Parasol is an end-to-end platform that enables game developers to seamlessly integrate blockchain infrastructure into their games. Parasol was acquired by Mysten Labs, who became the original contributor to SUI in 2024.
Jokers Inc. is led by former SEGA producer Yasuhiro Nishiyama, who has produced champions such as Sangokushi Taisen and Joker Code; and Wataru Sato, who produced Bakugan, an action card game that integrates physical toys and TCG elements. Together, they aim to create new value in the digital card game industry.
Joker Code, developed by SEGA, is a strategy-based digital transaction card game released as an arcade game on July 11, 2013. Over six years, the game has enjoyed the game in more than 650 rides nationwide, with over 2,760 satellite units.
