The next time you join a video call, otter.ai hopes its new AI tool can help make things smoother. On Tuesday, the company introduced the Otter Conference Agent. It is part of a suite of three new AI helpers designed to help a variety of different users. The first of them, a voice-activated conference agent, can arrange for you to follow up calls and draft emails. It can also answer questions based on the information the company finds in your company’s meeting database.
“The agent goes beyond simple transcription and enables users to interact with AI conference data in real time to improve productivity,” explains Otter.ai. The company’s two other agents released today can provide real-time coaching to sales agents during customer calls and provide live demonstrations to potential customers. Otter.ai said it plans to release more “vertical” agents in the future. They will be designed to assist in marketing, recruitment and other job functions.
Meanwhile, Otter.ai has begun to launch conference agents to all users. As of today, it has worked specifically with Zoom and supports the Microsoft team and Google Meet Viring in the coming weeks. If you can’t access immediately, it may take several days to market your agency.
