Openai has promised to release CHATGPT for parents within next month, the company Said Tuesday. Once the control is available, they will allow parents to connect their personal Chatgpt account to the teenage child’s account. From there, parents will be able to decide how Chatgpt responds to their children and disable certain features, including Memory and chat history. Additionally, it generates an automatic alert when Chatgpt finds a teenager in a “severe moment of pain.” According to Openai, “Expert investment will guide this feature to support trust between parents and teenagers.”

Openai said on Tuesday that parents’ controls are part of the company’s broader effort to improve Chatgpt’s security.
