In an interview with New Yorker for The New Yorker, the New York Times Opinion Section challenged former President Joe Biden’s immigration policy, saying it was “never wanted by most American voters.”

“We have 8 million net immigrants coming into the country. It seems that about 5 million of them have entered illegally, much faster than under Trump or Obama.”
He admitted that Biden chased the immigration record, telling New Yorker that “he wants more people to come to the country,” he then began to “relax a bunch of policies.”
