Nvidia pledges to build its own factories in the U.S. for the first time to make AI supercomputers

Nvidia It says it is working with its manufacturing partners to design and build the factory, and the song will be produced for the first time NVIDIA AI Supercomputer Completely in the United States

The company, along with leading manufacturing partners, has commissioned more than one million square feet of manufacturing space to build and test NVIDIA Blackwell chips in Arizona and AI SuperCuputers in Texas.

NVIDIA’s ecosystem partners will spend $500 million on AI infrastructure. The Santa Clara, California-based company has led the development of AI chips and the surrounding ecosystem, declining to say whether it will own and operate the plants. It’s not yet saying how many jobs it will create in the area.

This move is not surprising given the political climate set by the Trump administration. Taiwan TSMC, a major supplier of NVIDIA, has been preparing to make chips in the United States for many years, and has recently been committed to spending up to $100 billion in such factories in the future. However, with this move, NVIDIA will play a more active role in supercomputer production than in the past. This is important because Nvidia is one of the most valuable companies in the world with a market value of $2.737 trillion.

NVIDIA Blackwell chips have begun production at the TSMC chip factory in Phoenix, Arizona. NVIDIA is building a supercomputer manufacturing plant in Texas, Foxconn is in Houston, and in Dallas with Wistron. Mass production at both plants is expected to increase in the next 12 to 15 months.

The AI chip and supercomputer supply chains are complex and require state-of-the-art manufacturing, packaging, assembly and testing technologies. NVIDIA partnered with Amkor and Spil to carry out packaging and testing operations in Arizona.

Over the next four years, NVIDIA plans to produce up to half a trillion dollars of AI infrastructure in the United States through partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and Spil. These world-leading companies are deepening partnerships with NVIDIA, growing their businesses while expanding their global footprint and hardening the resilience of their supply chains.

NVIDIA AI supercomputers are the engine of new data centers created to handle artificial intelligence – the AI factory is the infrastructure that powers the new AI industry. Dozens of “Gigawatt AI factories” are expected to be built in the next few years. NVIDIA AI chips and supercomputers are expected to create hundreds of thousands of jobs in the coming decades and drive trillions of dollars in economic security.

“For the first time, the engine of the world’s AI infrastructure is built in the United States,” Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, said in a statement. “Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthening our supply chains and increasing our resilience.”

The company will use its advanced AI, robotics and digital dual technology technologies to design and operate facilities including Nvidia Omniverse to create the factory’s digital twins and NVIDIA ISAAC GR00T to build automated manufacturing robots.
