Naomi Elkins, 27, drowned on June 25 at her home in Lakewood, New Jersey, and was charged with killing her 1- and 3-year-old daughters.
Superior Court Judge Guy P. ordered Elkins to work on a safe psychiatric hospital twice, one of which was every child she killed, according to Ashbury Park Press.
This means she was sentenced to 150 years in a psychiatric hospital because each promised life period is equivalent to 75 years under state law.

Elkins has admit police Because of “religious reasons”, she drowned every child’s children.
She first stabbed the young child but didn’t believe it would kill her, so she put the child in the bathtub, fixed her underwater for two to three minutes, and told the police several times she counted to 50 times to make sure she lasted “enough time” underwater.
The judge said her other daughter observed what happened and ran away. But Elkins grabbed her, placed her in the tub in the second bathroom, climbed to the top of her, and put her down as the tub filled.
Elkins then called first responders to report that she had hurt her daughter. Two children were pronounced dead at the scene.
Psychologist Gianni Pirelli testify court Elkins is “without doubt” and the woman believes she or her husband is Messiah, according to Ashbury Park Press. Bereley said Elkins was described as “emotionless” after the incident, and her statements included similar “religious themes.”
“She thinks that if she destroys the children, she will destroy all the evil in the world,” Pirelli said.

Elkins’ husband left town the day before the murder.
Elkins has been suffering from mental illness since at least 2018 and has postpartum mental illness after two children are born, Pirelli said. Pirelli said the woman’s mental health has never been stable.
After Elkins’ second pregnancy, Elkins began to believe that she was “a descendant of Hitler or an evil entity, the idea that she was evil, this self-loathing or the idea that she needed to repent.”
Perelli said Elkins was allowed to write a letter and Elkins was allowed to write a letter, “as if it was a letter to God.”
“I thought I loved you, God, my creator,” Elkins wrote in the letter.
The letter continues: “You are evil. I deserve death and destruction. I don’t know what I am. I love my children, but I love you even more.”

The letter added: “I put me before the children. What do Jewish mothers do? How is it possible? How is it possible?”
Ocean County Attorney Bradley D. Billhimer said his office had no objection to Elkins’ legal madness when he killed his child.
“Based on our review of facts and circumstances, combining psychiatrist reports and testimony, the state agreed to the finding,” Billhimer said. “It’s not even a close call.”
Defense attorney Mitchell Ansell said she will regularly evaluate Elkins’ mental health unless she is no longer seen as a danger to herself or others unless she reaches some level of danger.
