Nintendo is today Switch 2 Instructing it to offer enhanced versions of its several popular switch games on the new system. These Switch 2 versions can be used as standalone titles or as upgrade packages for existing games. In the revealed title, there is both the original switch launch and the Switch 2 Enhanced version is the legend of Zelda the Wild of the Wild of the Wild of the Kingdom, and the Kingdom’s Tears will be obtained on the Switch 2 at launch.
The Switch 2 enhanced game has several features that properly enhance the gaming experience. For example, both Zelda games have a feature called Zelda Notes, which helps users browse the world and find locations in the game through the princess’ own comments. Metroid Prime 4’s Switch 2 Edition: Overcome Quality (4K at 60 fps) and Performance (Full HD at 120 fps) modes, and also allows users to aim Samus’ ARM Cannon using the Joy-Con 2’s mouse controls.
The other 2 versions provide new DLC for their game. Super Mario Party Jamboree’s new mode centers on the Switch 2’s built-in microphone and mouse controls, as well as an optional proprietary camera. It also has Jamboree TV, which includes Bowser Live, an experience with game performances with body movement. It will be launched on July 24. Similarly, Kirby and Land’s Switch 2 editions have exclusive DLC called Star-Crossed World, which will be launched on August 28.
The only game confirmed to have the Switch 2 version at launch is Pokémon Legends:ZA, which will have “improved resolution and frame rate”. Nintendo suggests that other games may announce 2 enhanced versions at some point in the future. The enhanced version feature is also available as a purchaseable upgrade for existing versions of the game that can be purchased.
