NFL scout makes blunt admission about Arch Manning’s showing against Ohio State: ‘Little hard to watch’

Manning’s performance sparked widespread reaction, with one of the scouts admitting they were having a tough time watching the game.

“To be honest, it’s ugly,” the unnamed scout told the Fox Sports.

“It’s honestly ugly,” the scout said. “He’s just being hyped. He can’t meet those expectations almost whatever he does. But I admit, I think he’ll be better than him.”

Another talent evaluator gave Manning a more tolerant comment, emphasizing the Buckeyes’ “very good” talent in defending the backcourt. Other Boy Scouts took a wait-and-see approach, noting that it was “too early in the process”.

The previous one New York Jets Scout Daniel Kelly commented on Manning Day in Columbus, Ohio, saying his performance was “actually encouraged.”

“He showed progress in several key areas. He was seeing better overall. He was good at making progress and delivered more accurately in the second and third readings.
