First on Fox: A new report from a nonprofit and nonpartisan government regulator reveals tens of thousands of dollars that have poured into U.S. universities in recent years, including $20 billion to some of the country’s most prestigious universities.
The report is produced by Americans and Release this weekfound that $60 billion of foreign gifts and contracts were remitted to American universities and universities, including $20 billion, namely elite schools such as Harvard and Yale.
Of this total, $795 million comes from long-standing rivals in the United States, including China, Russia, Venezuela and Yemen.
“It is shocking that many of these schools are also top research that deals with sensitive information and intellectual property rights,” the study noted.

The report expands concerns about the money coming in American universities With the collateral of foreign actors and the influence of hawkers.
Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of the American Public Trust, told Fox News Digital: “For a long time, a lot of foreign money has been going to our universities and universities.”

“Most of these foreign funds can be traced back to countries with good confrontational relationships with the United States, or can be carried out directly or directly or indirectly against our countries. During the same period, we have seen that in these institutions, we have cultivated the anti-attitude and radical thinking of these institutions, which affect the entities and individuals of these institutions.”
Anti-Israel protests have erupted on university campuses across the country in recent years, and the report noted that the threat in 2024 is “schools that have obtained the most schools in Catari include Harvard and Cornell.
“Sadly, anti-Semitic violence and speech in both schools have risen sharply since the terrorist invasion of Israel by the terrorist organization Hamas in October 2023.”

The report also records concerns about the influx of Chinese funds Ivy League agency.
“The impact of money flowing from China into university campuses is dangerous and widespread,” the report pointed out. “In 2024, China invested more than $175 billion in U.S. schools, and the historic breadth of this huge enterprise cannot be underestimated; publicly trusted Americans have previously exposed nearly $130 million in Chinese funding to Pennsylvania Ivy League University within five years.”
The study concluded that measures must be taken to ensure that foreign influence in U.S. schools are not universal, including the Deterrence Act, which will “deter bad actors from trying to buy influence across the United States through our higher education system, espionage, and sow American propaganda and prejudice.”
