Exclusive: President Donald Trump Executive orders for paper straws signed in February have begun to “use all available levers” to reduce them.
Fox News Digital exclusively received a report from the Domestic Policy Committee outlining the White House’s hope that the Food and Drug Administration will investigate the risks of PFAS with paper straws and “consider its use.” It also tends to use straw in federal cafeterias, stop buying them in federal contracts for various agencies, and own the United States Ministry of Agriculture “There will not be any promotion or manufacture of paper straws in the future.”
“Paper straws are a ridiculous assumption. They are bad for the environment, they are unhygienic, they are expensive, they contain dangerous and eternal chemicals, and – like most things raised by the previous administration, they don’t work.”

The executive order was issued in a few months after the Biden administration announced plans to phase out silencing plastics in the federal government.

The report concluded: “The Trump administration has removed this weaponization of the administration and will use all available levers to bring back common sense, end the use of paper straws and restore functional tools for the American people.”
