Pistons forward Ron Holland II was given a one-game suspension, while his teammate Marcus Sasser will be forced to play. Meanwhile, Timberwolves Center Naz Reid and defender Donte Divincenzo both played a game.
All of these players except Stewart popped up from Sunday’s game. Officials also threw Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff and T’Wolves assistant Pablo Prigioni from the game.

“Obviously it’s too far,” Bickstaff said after that game. “But what you’re seeing is each other, guys looking for each other, trying to support each other.

The incident began with the Netherlands foul Reed in the second quarter with 8:36 left Timberwolves Showdown against Minneapolis Pistons. Reid faces the Netherlands, who then pushes Divincenzo, who pushes Divincenzo into the Netherlands, and they end up trapped in the audience sitting at the baseline.

The league said Stewart and Stewart and Sasser entered the dispute, “this led to a continued escalation in the situation.”
Timberwolves won a 123-104 match.

Reid and Divincenzo will be suspended for one of their games when they land on the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. Stewart will start suspending when he starts playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, with Holland and Suther also suspending the game.
Minnesota entered Tuesday’s action in seventh place in the Western Conference rankings, while the idle Pistons remained fifth in the Eastern Conference.
