comedian Nate Bargatze Discussed how he felt religious appeals in his career in an interview Sunday and told CBS News that he believed he had to believe in his path.
Bargatze was the highest-grossing comedian last year, and his jokes kept his scenes family friendly. A Tennessee native from Tennessee, hosting next Sunday’s Emmy Awards, is also open About his Christian faith.
“You feel like you’re being asked to do this and my career. So you just have to believe that your path will be the path, just stick with it.”
“When you say you want to do this, are you saying it’s like a religious call?” asked Conor Knighton, correspondent.

“It’s a huge belief: I’m second is God. The second is your family, second is the audience, second is everyone. You serve alive, so it’s a call in that. But, it’s trying to keep that balance. In a place where I don’t want anyone who isn’t like this or that person-I just want everyone to do something in the room.

Bargatze told Fox News Number In an interview in 2023, he was engaged in clean comedy mainly because he felt he could not tell dirty jokes in front of his parents.
“I think I still feel like I’m going to have trouble,” he said. “I’m going to have trouble, I’m going to let them down. I don’t want to let my parents down.”
In an interview with CBS News, Bargatze said he likes parents don’t have to worry about their kids looking at his material. He is often happy with himself in his daily activities between his husband and father.

“I love that guys come to my show, and I don’t want to betray that trust,” he told CBS. “You can let kids watch me stand, … If you see them driving it, you don’t have to be like, ‘Wow, what’s wrong?”
