Authorities say she died and her mother was detained after driving drunk and hitting a tree while driving and two children died and her mother was detained.
Yesica Barajas was arrested on Sunday for suspected drunkenness after her car crashed on West Imola Avenue on Highway 29 in Napa. News station report.
Her children, Aaliyah Montanez, 9, and Damien Montanez, 10, were killed in the crash, Kron4 reports.
Barajas, 31, was seriously injured on suspicion of two counts of vehicle manslaughter and was booked Monday night Prison records show.
“Damian and Aaliyah are sweet, loving, full of children of life who will be missed a lot,” a family friend wrote on the Gofundme page. “They touched everyone they met.”
