Sources said Mays’ office was notified by the U.S. Capitol Police Department that Shawn Monper of Butler, Pennsylvania, posed a threat to her on social media in January.
The man allegedly wrote on YouTube: “If I saw someone she had no protection in public, I would live on her skull. It’s really disgusting Peice [sic] Rubbish. ”

Sources told Fox News Digital that Mays appears to be the only member of Congress in the current MP for the suspect.
It’s not clear why Mace is outspoken Trump allies, Under threat.
But this is because people are concerned about the threat from elected officials on both sides of the aisle.
According to the release of the Justice Department (DOJ), Trump was hit with two failed assassination attempts during the 2024 election, and Monpper was targeted in a series of threats on YouTube.

According to the press release, the FBI “had received emergency disclosures about threats posted by user ‘Mr. Satan’ on YouTube from January 15 to April 5.
Monpper also received a gun license for Trump’s inauguration “short long after” and issued it on February under the aforementioned username, “I have bought a few guns and have been stocking up on ammunition since Trump took office,” the Justice Department said.
Posts in March show Monpper threatened to carry out a mass shooting.
Other posts found by federal authorities show he targets immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) officials and Elon Muskrelease display.

Sources told Fox News Digital that the U.S. Secret Service was also warned of the suspect’s threat to MACE.

Police at the U.S. Capitol said they would not comment on the potential investigation when they were contacted.
Mays’ office did not immediately return a request for comment.
