People visiting southern Australia may be surprised as mysterious bubbles and dead fish are on the shore.
According to the Associated Press, the bloom of microalgae produced by abnormal weather conditions caused the foam to cross hundreds of yards of coastline (AP).
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), flowers can cause algae to get out of control, “producing toxins that can kill fish, mammals and birds.”
