Musk’s political baggage: Polls show Americans sour on Trump’s most visible advisor

There is no denying that billionaire Elon Musk is the most obvious member of the president Donald Trump’s The administration was in the White House a decade before Trump. However, the approval rating was approved as recent polls showed familiarity.

Musk, the richest man and CEO in the world Tesla SpaceX caught the eye when the acronym for the administration’s efficiency division, which swept federal agencies, rooting what the White House thinks is billions of dollars in wasted federal spending.

The department also brought meat knifes to the federal labor force, causing a large number of employees to leave Egypt. Controversial move passed Musk and Governor Triggered many lawsuits.

But it is becoming increasingly clear that most Americans are far from being able to do Musk. Two new national public opinion polls released this week provide further evidence.

Musk’s favorable rating is 39% among Americans, with 57% looking at him in an unfavorable light, according to a Reuters/IPSOS poll conducted from March 31 to April 2.

Only 36% of respondents said the Trump administration has done a qualified job in reducing the number of federal employees. Even fewer (31%) propose that the Trump administration has the ability to reduce the size of the federal government without affecting important services.

According to a national survey by Marquette Law School, 41% agree with the work Musk does in Doge, and 58% give him a thumbs up.

In the poll conducted from March 17 to 24, Musk’s favorable rating was on negative territory, at 38 to 60%.

The two surveys are the latest, showing that Musk’s polls are deeply underwater.

In a Quinnipiac University survey conducted earlier last month, the majority (54%) said in a Quinnipiac University survey that Musk and the Governor were hurting the country, and only four in four said their efforts were helping the country.

And according to Fox News National Poll Musk made the approval in mid-March, and his work on Doge was on negative territory, receiving 40% approval and 58% disapproval.

While nearly six in 10 people in the Fox News poll believe that large or almost all government spending is wasteful and inefficient, 51% oppose the drastic shrinkage of government employees, 56% disapprove of the Trump administration’s identification and reduction of wasted spending, while another 65% fear that there is not enough thought and plan to enter the cuts.

As Trump continues to praise Musk for his efforts like Duger, some Republicans are beginning to express concerns about Musk’s political responsibility.

Democrats are increasingly focused and targeting Musk in political attacks. That was when he inserted the former center in the high-profile and historically expensive state Supreme Court elections in Wisconsin this week.

A massive infusion of money from Democratic and Republican groups outside Wisconsin turned race into the most expensive judicial election in U.S. history, a game that turned partly into a referendum about the opening months of Trump’s second-round tour in the White House and Musk’s efforts.

Liberal candidate Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford eventually defeated conservative Trump-backed candidate Brad Schimel, who currently serves as a state Circuit judge in Walkersha County, about ten.

In a game expected to end, the larger margins were in a state with very tight profits in the presidential campaign last November.

Musk, who was Trump’s biggest donor last year, provided about $20 million in support of Schimel through a unified group during the Wisconsin game.
