Billionaire Elon Musk says he hopes the United States and Europe can Develop their economic relations to eliminate the need for tariffs.
Musk made a statement in a video interview with Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini on Saturday.
“At the end of the day, I hope both Europe and the United States should, in my opinion, ideally, both Europe and the United States should act with zero timely circumstances, effectively creating a free trade zone between Europe and North America,” Musk said.
He went on to say that he also hopes to see greater freedom of movement between Europe and the United States.

“If people want to work in Europe or want to work in North America, they should be allowed to do that,” Musk said, adding that this is certainly my advice to the president. ”
Musk’s statement is less than a week later Trump unveils Almost every major country on the planet is imposed on tariffs.

The initial 10% “baseline” tariffs went into effect Thursday at U.S. seaports, airports and customs warehouses. Goods taxes from 57 larger trading partners will begin later this week.

EU imports will face 20% tariffs, while Chinese goods will be subject to 34% tariffs, which will bring Trump’s China’s new taxes Up to 54%.
World leaders in Europe and elsewhere have vowed to retaliate against tariffs. China is more difficult than any other country, and he promised to “take countermeasures to protect its rights and interests” last week.
