Washington is meeting – Elon Musk in the Senate Republicans at about two hours in a closed dinner at Wednesday’s Government of Government in his Department of Government Efficiency.
They discussed a “respission” package that the White House can be sent to Congress to codify his cuts on a scale that can be strong administrative power challenges to work unilaterally.
“To me, it is ephemeral today. I love all the things they do, but we need to vote for it. So, my message to the idea of the impoundment, and we will send it to the idea of the impoundment,” Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. “Because what we need to do is lobby to reach 51 senators, or 50 senators to cut off spending.”
Many senators said musk was shocked to know that there was a possible lane in the legumes of making cuts of harvest cuts. Lindsey Graham, Rs.c.
He supported the idea that Paul raised.
“It’s time for the White House today to continue to sin. We lose weight. You know, we started right,” Graham said. “We need to get back into the game of offense. And the way you can recover is high-working work, go from personalities and dramas, making it a job and vote.”
The Lunch Meeting, Organized by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., Came as musk’s Activities Loom as a sticking point in Negotiations to keep the Government Next Friday, March 14. Democrats need to sign off on such a bill, and they have accused the White House of Usurping Congress’s Power by Unilaterally Slashing Spending Directed by law.
Hours earlier, the Supreme Court ruled the rejection The Trump Administration request to freeze billions of foreign help. Paul says his message to Elon is “going to the impoundment idea” and work with Congress to keep the money expenditures.
Josang Hawley, R-mo., Said there are “many numbers dropped around” at the meeting. But he noticed that the musk did not give republican senators a total dollar of what he was expected to withdraw, or how much the potential package is cut into the restricting.

Hoeven said musk should think about giving her number to the democratic senators as well as and join a dialog.
“Yes, be a test,” Hoeven said.
Musk is also set to meet the Pouse Republicans in the Capitol Wednesday night. Rep. Rep. Aaron Bean, R-Fla.
“Some of our members are worried about how it is lost in a little,” Bean says in an effort to make. “But I think it’s interesting, I think the President puts a plan last night.”
The White House also raises its outreach to the Government fund Congress. Trump met with a group of conservative hardliners in the White House on Wednesday afternoon, Russec and Budget Director Russell interacted with a continued resolution.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-la. Johnson attended a conservative’s conservation committee (RSC) on Wednesday, where he made the case as they needed a lot of time to withdraw all the cuts.
“The speaker provides reality in the situation. … The fact is that this is the only option for us,” RSC chairman August Pfluager, R-Texas, told reporters after lunch. “I don’t think we know all the information, and surely we will not know before March 14. We want to get the [DOGE] Storage. But it gives us the opportunity to continue negotiating the specified fees. ”
And there are signs that the usual pocket of dissolve is melting.

It’s a long order – Republicans have a majority of 218-214, which means they can only lose a vote without the Democrats. GOP Lawmakers have a lot of frequent votes against government funding fees. And a rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., Is strong against the idea of continued resolution.
“I will vote against a clean ch fund all in 2025 in 2024 levels,” Massie Tuesday told X.
