Princeton professor Eddie Glaude summoned voters in the 2024 election in an interview on MSNBC on Monday, arguing that the 78 million people voted for those who wanted to “destroy the republic” because they “don’t want to elect black women.”
“I don’t know what 78 million Americans are going to deal with what prompts them to make this, and the choices they make, we just have to be honest, are going to literally look at the republic.”

Glad continued: “We chose a felon who was more interested in loyalty, he was more interested in retribution, he was more interested in Grift than democracy, and we chose felon because we didn’t want to elect a black woman.”
He added: “So to read this, that is, we would rather destroy the Republic than destroy the Republic, and until we work hard, I have nothing to protest, nothing to force 78 million people to force 78 million people to work hard and put them in this position,” he added.
Wallace agreed with Glaude, and the host said: “You are right, those 78 million people voted for the people who want to chop the constitution.”
He further argued that discrimination is the center of Trump’s support.
“There is this meaning, it is a tragic level of the American project, that the expansion of fundamental democratic principles, dignity and status should all give anyone anyone, regardless of their gender, no matter where they come from, no matter what their color. This is challenged,” said Growder.
He added: “Nicole is for his own self-interest and people have been using it in some way.”

While talking to Wallace at her show in December 2024, he insisted that hatred, greed and selfishness were at the center of Trump’s political movement.
“So we have suffered a collision of greed and hatred before us, which is Trumpism, the heart of the magazine. It has always been greed, has always been selfish, has always been hated, and has now been full of comprehensive, full view.”

“Eddie, a lot of people vote because their lives are too expensive,” Ruhr said. Glaude refuted the idea that people vote for Trump because the price is high in the conversation.

“They voted for a liar, a person they knew was doing their best to destroy the so-called country they liked. Then they told us BS, it was economics. We knew it wasn’t true. We knew it wasn’t true,” Glaude added.
