Moments later, Trump downplayed Democrats for refusing to join the agenda.

“This is my fifth speech to Congress, and I look at the Democrats in front of me again, and I realize I have absolutely nothing to say to make them happy, or to make them stand up, smile or applaud, there is nothing I can do about it.”

“I can find a cure for the most destructive disease that will destroy the entire country, or declare the answer to the greatest economy in history, or record the cease-of-crime to the lowest level ever,” Trump continued. “These people sitting here won’t applause, don’t stand, and certainly won’t cheer on these astronomy achievements. He then challenged the Democrats directly, telling them: “Only one night, why not join us to celebrate so many incredible American victories? For the good of our nation. Let’s work together and let us really make America great again.”
