Exclusive: on Monday, Mississippi Auditor Shad White will release a compilation of audits conducted by his office that listed $400 million in waste during his tenure.

“We have been working on this project over the last few years. It’s encouraging that President Trump and Elon Musk are doing Dogg, which has made public awareness of the amount of fraud, waste and abuse in the administration,” White said in his exclusive interview.

The figure will be broken down in an 800-page report, which White will be released later on Monday.

He said a state agency spent nearly $6,000 per person on TV, and the same swollen federal government paid about $2,000 for similar technologies.

“So if you think the federal government is inefficient, I assure you that your state government may also be less efficient across the country,” he said.
Asked about cutting wasteful spending in Dei and elsewhere, White said, even in the red state Mulanzhouthere are lots to discover and trim.

The role of a state auditor varies in terms of the state’s statutory statutory versus the state.
Asked if White worked with neighboring officials or other deep southern states for regional threshold-type initiatives, White said some states like Alabama had more limited auditor roles than he had legal authority in Jackson.
But he said Oklahoma auditor Cindy Byrd is working to explore efforts wasted in faster state governments.
