Kozlowski was one of 66 Democrats who voted against the bill, which made him shyly reach the passing 68 votes.
The bill states: “Only female students can participate in primary or secondary sports teams or sports where educational institutions are limited to women and girls.”
“Women are women determined by biology determined by genetics and defined by an individual’s reproductive system.” The bill states.
Contrary to Kozlowski, many Republicans have spoken in favor of the ball, citing the protection of female space from biological males.
“We can’t make our girls vulnerable to losses on the team, on the podium, or male teammates or male competitors injured,” state Rep. “That’s not safe, it’s not fair to our girls.”
Former Minnesota Vikings player Jack Brewer joined Riley Gaines at the Minnesota Capitol on Monday in support of the bill. Brewer told Fox News figures last week that he believed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was “disgusting” about the biological males who continued to allow girls in the state’s movement.
“It’s absolutely disgusting, and that’s why when you see him and see his behavior and how he’s going, you know this guy doesn’t attract people and boys who fight on the grill. I don’t have much in common with this guy.”

The Minnesota State High School League is one of many state college conferences and the league announced it will continue to allow trans athletes to participate in women’s sports, contrary to President Donald Trump’s recent executive order to prevent the sports.
However, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote a letter late last month warning of the consequences of not passing the “Save Women’s Sports Act.”
“The Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights has begun a Chapter IX investigation into the Minnesota High School League,” Bondy’s letter read. “If the Department of Education’s investigation shows that Minnesota-related entities are indeed denying girls an equal opportunity to participate in athletics and sports events and demanding that they compete with boys, the Department of Justice is ready to take all appropriate actions to enforce federal law.”
