House Republican leaders are convening Republican members around a plan Donald Trump’s Agenda, legislation is The Senate passed Early Saturday morning.
“For more than a year, the House has begun discussing a component of a tax that would reduce the deficit, ensure our borders, keep taxes on families and job seekers, rebuild the U.S. energy advantage, restore peace through the force and make the government more effective and responsible to the American people.
“Today, the Senate passed a version of the budget resolution. Next week, the House will consider the Senate amendment.”
Congressional Republicans are pushing for conservative policy overhaul through the budget reconciliation process. Traditionally, when a party has all three branches of government, reconciliation lowers the Senate restrictions on the passage of certain fiscal measures, from 60 to 51.

As a result, it was used to make comprehensive policy changes through one or two huge legislation.
Senate Republicans passed a framework for a settlement bill after hours of debate and vote on amendments to the measure after 2 a.m. Saturday.
It is similar to the version passed by House Republicans in late February; however, the lower benchmarks used by the Senate to avoid considering extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts and required federal spending cuts, which has led some House conservatives to warn that they can oppose the bill.
The Senate version calls for at least $4 billion to cut spending, while the House version calls for $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion in flooring.
The two bills also include Trump’s priorities such as border security, energy and new tax policies, such as eliminating penalties and overtime wages.
R-Texas Rep. Chip Roy wrote on X: “If the Senate’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ budget voted in the House, I will vote.”
“In Washington’s classic way, the Senate budget conveys a wonderfully first-class message – we should return to the $6.5 trillion interest, higher interest, the former trajectory of Medicare and Social Security (modified with higher interest, Medicare and Social Security), rather than the current trajectory of over $70,000 – but to achieve its zero execution, rather than the goal achieved by achieving its purpose.

But House Republican leaders insist that the passage of the Senate through its framework will only allow the House to start working in February’s bill and will not hinder their process in any way.
“The Senate amendment did not change the House settlement instructions we voted a few weeks ago. Although the Senate chose to take a different approach to its direction, the revised resolution will never prevent us from achieving our goals in the final settlement bill.”
“We have and will continue to have all discussions with the Senate and the White House (to ensure home access), the final settlement bill must include a historic spending reduction while protecting the basic plan.”
House Republican leaders noted that passing a framework is just the first step in a long process, which just provides a broad guide to how money is spent.
Now similar frameworks are Passing the house and the Senate, relevant congressional committees will determine how to achieve the ultimate settlement policy objectives under its given jurisdiction.
House leaders warned: “We have made it clear that the House will not accept and will not participate in the ‘U.S. with their’ process, leading to the Senate’s claims.”
“Immediately after the House adopts a budget solution, our House and Senate committees will begin preparing their respective settlement bill titles that will be marked during the next working period.”
The letter reiterated Johnson’s previous goal to collect bills on Trump’s table by the end of May.

House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, called the Senate resolution “unconfidence and disappointment,” noting that it demanded only $4 billion in “enforceable cuts.”
However, he vowed to work with Congress leaders to find the best way forward.
“I am committed to working with President Trump, House leaders and my Senate colleagues to resolve these issues and ensure that the final settlement bill makes America safe, prosperous and accountable again,” Arlington said.
