The timing or reason for the meeting is unclear, but as Republicans in Congress map out how to deal with the judges they think are “activists” to prevent the president Donald Trump’s Agenda.
Currently, the commission plans to mark several legislation not related to the judicial standoff at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Johnson planned to hold weekly press conferences at the time.

But House Republican leaders are also alert to any call for impeachment, fearing that it is not the most effective way to do it.

However, Trump had previously expressed interest in popping up U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg issued an emergency order that prevented the administration from expelling alleged Tren de Aragua gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.
Rep. Brandon Gill of R-Texas proposed an impeachment Boasberg decision last week to “abuse power.” The legislation gained three new supporters on Monday and now has a total of 19 co-sponsors.
However, when Fox News asked digitally on Monday night, some House Republicans were hesitant about the idea.
Rep. Nick Lalota said: “We should not lower the standards of improvisation, but we should – we mean Congress – provide remedies for district court judges who are completely overturned.”
Another Republican who declined to be named said they were “totally opposed” to impeachment.
“That’s the purpose of the appeal process,” they said.

“The reason I sponsored Jill’s efforts is that if we don’t say anything, the judge will say, ‘Oh, we can do whatever we want.’ So they need to know we’re observing and there’s a bunch of people in us that we’ll support that if that’s needed,” Stutzman said.
