Midjourney is one of the earliest AI image generation services on the web, releasing its first new AI image model in nearly a year.

The V7 comes in two flavors, Turbo and Resial (the former runs more expensive), and powers a new tool called Draft Mode, which presents images at 10 times faster and half the cost of the standard mode. According to HOLZ, the V7 has not yet received many Midjourney features, including image upgrades and re-verification. These will arrive in the near future – and may arrive immediately within two months, he said.
