Microsoft said on Saturday that customers of its Azure Cloud platform could Experience increases delay After cutting multiple marine cables in the Red Sea.

The company said traffic ending in the Middle East or in Asia or Europe was affected. It doesn’t say who cut the cable or the reason.

“Cutting subsea fibers may take time to repair, so we will continue to monitor, rebalance and optimize routing to reduce customer impact,” the status update said.

By Saturday night, Microsoft said it no longer found any Azure issues.
