Something incredibly frustrating when typing on a numeric keypad using the controller. Whether it’s streaming or gaming, it’s painful to find the slow weakness of each letter. Well, thankfully, there is an improvement Xbox Controllerand Microsoft announces new GamePad keyboard For Windows 11 touch keyboard.
The updated keyboard should make use of the on-screen keyboard using the Xbox controller. It brings even greater navigation to controllers and useful shortcuts. For example, the X button can be used as a backspace, the y button as a space bar, and the menu button as an Enter. Microsoft also noted that it has vertically aligned the keyboard keys for smoother use.
Microsoft first shared the technology of beta testing Back to September. Now, it works in the preview of Windows 11, so you should be able to try it out for yourself in the next few weeks. Hopefully it saves you a lot of time and frustration (and the streamers will come up with their own solutions soon).
