After sliding into third base, Voit saw the white powder of foul line chalk, and he pretended to hit Nor, just like the white powder of cocaine.

The celebrations have received some traction on social media, and apparently some of them are negative, forcing Voit to apologize for his actions.

“I apologized for my actions at third base yesterday. I made an immature decision in the heat of the moment,” Voit said. “The gestures I made do not reflect my character, the family I grew up with or the obstacles I represent in any way. I take full responsibility for everything I do, and I am very sorry for everyone who has a negative impact on it.”

VOIT was a two-way player in his first two seasons with the Wolverines, reaching .281 with an OPS of 0.871 in that span. But, as he walked off the mound, he had been dominating the plate.

This season, VOIT reached .451 with 1.393 in 19 games. His six stolen bases are already more than all of them that played 59 games last season.
