You know, we were able to raise nutrition standards, labels, so that they are more readable so that people’s parents can really understand the breakdown of fat and sugar, and it’s clear that we improved the nutrition standards in schools for the first time in the school, for about 50 years.”

She also touted the Guinness World Record-breaking title as they had a 24-hour event on the White House South Lawn where most people jumped jacks.
“We really focused on making it fun, keeping kids active, reminding parents that we have to make sports fun,” Obama said. “So we have had a lot of amazing partnerships with the NFL and we broke the Guinness World Record. I planted a garden to try to make people more focused on making vegetables more fun and fun. But it’s all about really dealing with a real health crisis, when a lot of people weren’t taking it seriously.”
