With Alonso’s return, Viothos was in a stumbling spot at third base after a strong second half and a playoff run as he played 27 home runs in 111 regular season games last season.

Buddy played 50 games last season and struggled to hit .229 on four home runs.

Whether Buddy gets the Opening Day lineup or not, he will at least step out of spring training with a brand new car.
