After years of delay and at least one Full restart,,,,, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond It’s coming soon. During a direct Nintendo speech on Thursday, Nintendo took a closer look at the gameplay.
The trailer shows Samus exploring a jungle planet called “Viewros” that “she unexpectedly shipped to it.” She will fight vicious alien creatures and scan artifacts to learn information that might help her escape. Not only that, Samus will gain new psychological abilities that she can use to open doors and manipulate mechanisms and control the direction of the beam she emits. There are some mystery as to why she wants to get these powers, but we may learn this through the process of the story.
There are no specific release dates so far. However, Nintendo reiterates that the game is 2025 switch. Due to the backward compatibility of the system, it will probably run on switch 2 as well.
