Nintendo finally reveals game details about the long-awaited Metroid 4: March Direct, including location – a beautiful jungle with hostile locals – and what Samus can do to strike her attackers. In the latest section, Samus adds psychological abilities to her arsenal. The gameplay trailer also confirms that Prime 4 will be available sometime in 2025.
According to the trailer, Samus was summoned to Planet ViewRos, where she gained the above abilities. In practice, her psychological power means that Samus can manipulate certain puzzles with her own mind and can also guide her beam trajectory in Prime’s iconic first-person game.
It also means she has no idea why she receives these powers, although this mysterious character, who calls it “the person of choice” may have something to do with it.
Nintendo withdraws the Prime 4 curtains while focusing directly on its original Switch game. If not nearly sure, the game will launch on the upcoming Switch 2 console. Revealing more information about the console directly will air on April 2. If it confirms the 2025 release date, it’s very likely that Metroid Prime 4 will launch on both consoles at the same time.
