Exclusive: First Lady Melania Trump The State Department will recognize brave women from all over the world on Tuesday and is expected to celebrate the “extraordinary power of women who embody love in global action”.
First Lady She will return to the State Department for the fifth year to participate in the Secretary of State’s International Courage Award.
The event will recognize women from around the world who “bravely support many of the values we cherish in America.”

this First Lady Expect to focus on “love as a source of power” in Tuesday’s speech and hopefully call Love the “universal language.”
The First Lady is also expected to honor the brave and “extraordinary” women who will receive the annual award.
First Lady spokesman Nick Clemens told Fox News Numbers, “Mrs. Trump will highlight the close connection between love and courage shown by this year’s winners. “She looks forward to celebrating the extraordinary power of women who embody love in global action. ”

Recipients include women from West Africa, Israel, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, South Sudan, Sudan, Sri Lanka and Yemen.

The IWOC Awards are in the 19th year and recognize women from all over the world who demonstrate “extreme courage, strength and leadership – often with great personal risks and sacrifices.”

The State Department said it has won more than 200 women from more than 90 countries with the IWOC Award since 2007.
The U.S. Foreign Affairs Commission nominates a woman of courage from their respective host countries, and finalists will be selected and approved by senior department officials.
