Meghan Markle is determined to be an influencer in making money.
After months of anticipation, the Duchess of Sussex’s products went live on Wednesday as ever. Gourmet products, including tea, baking mixtures, and jams, sold out in an hour. $28 wildflower honey sold out in less than five minutes, Vanity Fair Report.
Duncan Larcombe, former Royal Editor of the Suns, claimed that Fox News Digital said the success of the “suit” alumni with her brand was something the British royal family had been worried from the very beginning.

“It represents Megan’s effective reliance on her reputation … even using her children to try to promote her presence online and sell her product units,” he claimed. “It’s just that Royals are worried about what will happen. … [But] It really took us a few weeks to really know if she won the jackpot.
“She may have hit the gold, but I think the huge view here is just her reputation to make money,” Larcombe added.[But] She’s not popular here [in the U.K.]. And I can’t imagine having such a product would make a difference. ”
As always, all products, including $15 sprinkled flowers, sold out in less than an hour. (as always)

BBC and photographer Helena Chard accused the 43-year-old of using her royal relationship, even her children, who had glimpsed her followers on social media, “helping make money quickly.”

“It seems low, although it will certainly bring Megan’s success,” Chad said. “The product price is not astronomy. They… are… affordable for fans who want to get the ‘Megan Effect’. But…these products are priced enough to keep ongoing sales, rather than trained chefs or even professional foodies.”

Meghan is a former American actress who had a lifestyle blog The Tig, becoming the Duchess of Sussex when he married Prince Harry in 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took a step back as senior royals in 2020, citing unrelaxed media invasions and lack of support from the palace.
The couple is said to want to be financially independent couples, and the frustrated Buckingham Palace prevented them from developing their own “Sussex Royal” brand BBC Report. They moved to California, and now they have raised two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibelt.

Although they still hold the titles of Duke and Duchess, they are not called His or Her Royal Highness (HRH). Harry must also give up his military title.

According to the BBC, when they resigned as senior royals, Harry’s father, King Charles IIIgave them “large amount of money” to help build a new life. They set up Archewell Foundation and conducted several commercial transactions, including those with Netflix.
In March 2024, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, which was originally known as the American Riviera Orchard. It was renamed “As Always” in February due to trademark dilemma. Her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” shows her love for cooking and entertainment, premiered on March 4.

The store noted that Meghan and Harry’s production agreement with Netflix was signed in 2020 and ended this year. Their previous two documentaries about the Invictus game Polo and Harry broke out. Still, the streaming giant is not only an investor in Meghan, but a new episode of her show will premiere in the fall.
Megan wasn’t the first royal to cash out with honey and jam. Buckingham Palace sells Heather Honey in Scotland for $13.09, and Castle Castle Strawberry Preserves for $9.17. King’s Highgrove real estate honey sells for $34, and Royalists can store on organic house jam for $10.

And, it seems that luxury food is sold under the right name. Vanity Fair notes that Flamingo Estate sells honey from bees at LeBron James’s Bell Sky Mansion for $250.
