The buzzing sound around New York Giant After a week of nightmare against the Washington Commander, there was silence, and there might have been tension between the head coach and the star player.
At the end of the first quarter, Fox Radio captured a wide range of receivers Malik Nabers Head coach Brian Daboll had a verbal argument and the Giants’ offense began.
Daboll seems to be talking about his dislike of Nabers during the team’s last drive, and Nabers roared in his direction. Later, as the team squeezed back into the game, Dabor approached his star receiver, but Nabors left him as the coach offered a high five.

It’s hard to know exactly what Nabos and Dabor said, but given the Giants’ lack of targeting and offensive success, it’s likely revolved around the frustration at the start of the 2025 campaign.
The Giants are expected to improve into a season when shop owner John Mara made it clear that progress was needed to win the loss record to move the regime forward.

But New York looks similar to last season as Washington’s defense suffered attacks from the offensive line and put pressure on the new quarterback Russell Wilsonhe struggled in his big blue debut. Wilson got 17 of 37 out of 168 yards and 71 yards connected to the Nabers in 5 out of 12 goals.
Wan’dale Robinson got some key first games for New York, ending six catches with 55 yards on eight goals.

One of the main problems in New York is their running competition, which struggles throughout the process. Wilson led the way with 44 yards in eight carrys, while defenders Tyrone Tracy Jr., Devin Singletary and rookie Cam Skattebo combined 30 yards in 15 carrys.
With the running game not present, commander Wilson was shocked as he stood out on the Giants’ offensive route.
Last season, Nabers proved to be a quarterback defender, playing with Daniel Jones, Tommy Devito and Drew Lock while scoring 1,204 yards with 109 catches.

With Wilson being the team’s new starter, Nabers is expected to be one of the league’s highest receivers, but that’s not what he or the Giants thought of in a 21-6 loss on Sunday.
