More than 100 students at Wentworth School Scarborough, Maine, The school principal said in a press conference that when a student died, he practiced an upcoming concert on the school’s cafeteria stage, while others began “making physical complaints about the nature of the breath.”
Dr Diane Nadeau, principal of Scarborough School, said emergency medical services were called to the scene after 10 a.m. and 11 students were taken to the hospital for “further evaluation and preventive measures.”
The remaining students were walking to nearby Scarborough High School, Fire investigators are committed to identifying possible causes of reported disease.

The school’s principal said that when students were classified as risers, the temperature was not assessed. She was not sure if the school concert would be held Thursday night.
